I'M ALIVE!
Thank God I'm alive!!!
You cannot believe what just happened to my flight! OMG. In the middle of what's happening to the world right now plus planes missing and crashing, what just happened scares the crap out of me.
I was very sleepy like literally the moment I boarded the plane, I fell asleep but even though during take off I can hear something's wrong with the engines - it sounds noisy than its usual sound and FYI I used to be a flight attendant so I'm familiar with the normal noise. Anyway, it's Singapore so I know they would have checked everything and secured the safety first. One hour after we took off, the pilot announced that we are doing an emergency landing at the nearest airport which is Singapore and without any further explanation. Passengers facial reaction were not great to see at all but in my mind, I was like thinking all worst case scenarios like preparing myself for a water landing or other emergency scenes - my mind was scanning what I have learned when I was training to be a flight attendant.
When we reached the airport, taxiing to the gate, I see lots of fire trucks and ambulance. It got me so worried so I opened my phone while we were waiting inside the plane at the gate, called my mother and posted something in my twitter - hoping to reach out to all my friends whats happening to me at that moment. People were so angry because our flight got delayed for almost six hours but I was just like there sitting and being thankful that they returned us back safely and alive rather than pushing through the flight and who knows what might happened. At the end, the problem was fuel leaking. And yes it's a serious problem and that flight, I will never forget.
So, I didn't realise until I have landed in Sydney that yes my posts have reached to all my family and friends and apparently all over Asia from the news.
We landed safe. Thank God! Now, I needed to rest and catch up with sleep. Catch ya later!
