MRS. ASIA INTERNATIONAL 2015
The long wait is over! Queens have been crowned and more activities to follow.
I firmly believe in the powers of prayers, faith, positive outlook in life and hard work. For almost three months of preparation, from getting fit, acquiring knowledge from all sorts of reference, collecting feedbacks from true friends/critiques and mental awareness, I've finally got what I wanted to achieve.
Let me tell you my story during my pageant week.
9th June, Tuesday
Arrival of all delegates.
My Mom and kids came with me to the airport to meet the organizers picking up other delegates.
I was so excited working with Sonia because we already know each other back in our Mrs. Philippines Globe 2014 beauty pageant. :)
Arriving at the hotel, everybody looks so beautiful and it made me realised that this is not going to be an easy competition. So instead of trying hard and forcing myself to be more competitive, I reminded myself of one line I read few days before the pageant week, "Everyone is going to be beautiful as beauty depends on the person's eyes. Be yourself and be positive so that your true inner beauty comes out and that will make you stand out. " That was my whole motivation for the whole time and it did work.

Pre-Judging day and Glitter night <3
Prejudging with our National Pageant Director, Morena Carla Cabrera Quimpo.
During our prejudging, we went through nine judges individually. All judges are very friendly that made me feel relaxed and less pressure.

13th June, Saturday
Final night.
The most exciting part of the week!!!
There were three major parts of the final night. The national costume, evening gown and the awarding. I know I did my best and enjoyed the whole night. I've got two lovely kids that I haven't seen for few days that inspired me to smile more and express happiness on stage.
Awarding is going on and I'm praying for any award to bring home to show my kids that Mummy was gone to bring home something.
And it wasn't something. It was everything! I was very happy and thankful when they announced my name as the new Mrs. Asia International Metropolitan 2015 and just when I thought everything is done, they announced that there is one special award, the highest award of all, given by the owner and President of the ERM marketing and Mrs. Asia pageant, the Alex Liu award and unexpectedly, surprisingly, they called my name again!!!
With great pride and honor.. I am the first ever in the history of Mrs. Asia that was given the Alex Liu award and with this I feel very very special. I will be bringing with me wherever I go his name and will honor his award.
